The executive director of the FCT directorate of Muslim Pilgrims, Alhaji Salihu Husseini Ashara, has directed that all intending pilgrims for 2007 Hajj should deposit the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira (N100,000.00) with his directorate.

Alhaji Husseini Ashara, stated this in a press release made available to Nigerian Newsday recently, saying that the intending pilgrims can pay their Hajj fare through a bank draft to the FCT directorate of Muslim Pilgrims Affairs, Gwagwalada in the FCT.

He further said that the intending pilgrims were allowed to pay their One Hundred Thousand Naira deposit at the directorate's area offices at Gwagwalada, Kuje and Municipal Area Council.

The director appealed to the intending pilgrims to deem it fit to pay their deposit before August 31, 2006, deadline.

Ashara, however, expressed hope that if the intending pilgrims responded on time, it will enable the directorate to meet up with the demands of the intending pilgrims.
