NADP boss tasks staff

Staff of Nasarawa Agricultural Development programme (NADP) have been charged to be dedicated to their duties so as to ensure higher productivity and realization of the dream of the agricultural development project.
The Programme Manager of NADP, Mr. Jarumi Napthali Dachor gave the charge last week at the sendforth ceremony organised in honour of the retired programme manager of the NADP, Mr. Adah Umaru Gwamna and two other directors.
Mr. Dachor said ‘it is only through commitment to duties that we can justify our stay in NADP". He called on the staff to imbibe the good virtues of the retirees whom he described as hardworking, and transparent personalities.
He said in recognition of the retiree’s meritorious and dedicated service, the management of NADP deemed it fit to give them some awards.
Responding on behalf of the retires, Mr. Adah Gwamna thanked the management and staff of NADP for the honour done them. He assured that they would always give their support whenever the were called upon to do so and stressed the need for staff and management of NADP to take the interest of the organization above every other personal interest.
A cross section of staff who spoke at the ceremony commended the retirees for what they described as selfless service to NADP.
Meanwhile, the Nasarawa State Council of Agricultural and Allied Workers Union (AAWUN), have pledged its loyalty to the national president of the union, Comrade A. D. Bungudu.
In a release signed by the state chairman and secretary and made available to Nigerian Newsday, Nasarawa state council of AAWUN said "we pledged our loyalty and support for the union, the Agricultural and Allied Employees Union of Nigeria (it sister body) and the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC)
