New FRSC boss promises smooth working relationship

Nasarawa State new sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Mrs. S. A. Ajenge, has promised to work harmoniously with the state government and other agencies in the state.
Mrs. Ajenge said this at the premises of the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Lafia shortly after completing tour of ministries and agencies in the state.
The new sector commander said that she was ready to improve the free flow of traffic in Nasarawa State.
Mrs. Ajenge called for support of the NTA in publicizing the activities of the FRSC.
She commended the efforts of NTA in publicizing the activities of FRSC command in the past and appealed for more support.
She said that FRSC would continue to enforce the use of seat belts and stop people from using handsets while driving to reduce accidents.
She said the use of helmets would soon be enforced in Lafia.
Earlier, the general manager of the NTA Lafia, Mr. Maxwell Loko, thanked the FRSC commander for her visit and assured that the NTA would continue to promote the activities of the command.
Mr. Loko commended FRSC for celebrating 20 years of its anniversary, noting that the establishment of FRSC has saved a lot of lives in the country.
