ANCOPSS chairman get pat on the back

One of the illustrious sons of Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Alhaji ISmaila Maikasuwa, has described the principal of Government College, Nasarawa, Mr. Patrick Ogah, who is also the Nasarawa State chairman of All Nigeria Conference of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS), as a man full of wisdom and a mature civil servant.
Alhaji Maikasuwa who made the commendation in an interactive session with Nigerian Newsday in Nasarawa recently, stressed that Mr. Ogah has distinguished himself amongst other principals who served in the school as well as in the state.
Accoding to him, since Mr. Ogah became the principal of the school (Government College, Nasarawa), he was able to execute many laudable physical projects that have direct bearings to both students and staff of the school.
In his words: "Mr. Patrick Ogah has distinguished himself amongst other principals who have served here in Government College, Nasarawa, as well as his contemporaries in the state. If you go round the school you will see things for yourselves. I want to also tell you that he was among the ten outstanding civil servants, who received the Nasarawa State 2007 merit award of hard work and dedication by Governor Aliyu Akwe Doma".
He specifically mentioned the following projects as the ones executed by Mr. Ogah, a borehole with a lister generating plant, generating plant for computer room, computers, grinding machine for processing students feeding, 12 seater-bus for students use, conversion of motor garage into staff quarters, building of one students hostel for boys, provision of over 900 desks for students, chairs and tables for all offices, conference chairs and tables for staff room, musical instruments for social functions, musical instruments for school cadets, renovation of principal’s office, construction of class-rooms and the fencing of the school, among others.
