By Ogwuche Edward, Benue
Youths in Okpokwu Local Government Council of Benue State and the entire Idoma nation studying in tertiary institutions have been urged to embrace the act of writing of books.
The caretaker chairman of Okpokwo Local Government Council, Comrade Abba Moro who was represented by his personal assistant on political matters, Hon. Sule Makanchi stated this while delivering a speech at the book-launch by Prince Adah Joseph Ada in ugbokolo recently.
According to Comrade Moro, students in higher institutions of learning in Benue State and beyond should be encouraged to be focused and disciplined in order to attain the goal of academic excellence. He added that youths, especially students, should emulate the foot-step of Prince Ada by writing books instead of indulging in social vices such as robbery, cultism, prostitution and thuggery among others.
In his remark, Prince Ada, the Author of the book titled, "Principles of Management", also enjoined students to cultivate the habit of book writing as it would broaden their knowledge and imagination.
