The member disclosed that Bachi with six other surrounding communities had before now been suffering because of lack of medical centre.
He maintained that when the project is completed in three months time, the Federal Government would equip the centre to meet the medical needs of the people in the area.
According to Dantong, even though he influenced the citing of the centre in Bachi services to be rendered will be for all irrespective of political affiliation.
Earlier, the Gwom Rwei of Bachi, Da Gyang Dalyop said that his community donated the land for the project free in appreciation of the gesture.
He thanked Dr. Dantong for making it possible for the centre to be brought to Bachi to provide for their medical needs.
The community leader, however, lamented a situation where by his people traveled over 30 kilometers for medical attention in Vom Christian Hospital, noting that, such a distance is quite far and if in critical situation people die before reaching there.
He said the sitting of the FMC at Bachi will go along way in reducing mortality rate especially among pregnant women.
The royal father charged other representatives to influence the sitting of meaningful projects in their localities to impact on the lives of the electorate.
Nigeria Newsday reports that the Journey to the locality from the main road was breath taking due to the nature of the bad road that needed the prompt attention of the state Government to give the people a sense of belonging.
The bridge linking Bachi and others needs to be worked on fast otherwise the people will soon cut off from others. The middle of the bridge needs to be visited.
