We assure you of our continuous support and understanding in the discharge of your responsibility as the President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

5. We also wish to seize this opportunity to congratulate you on your eventful 100 days in office. Congratulations.

6. Mr. President, we are happy to note the tremendous progress by your Administration within this short period of 100 days, particularly, in the areas of electoral reforms, energy and power, Police reform, Niger Delta question, the Rule of Law and commitment to the implementation of vision 2020. More importantly, is the statesmanship and uncommon patriotism which you have amply demonstrated in the conduct of the affairs of the country at this trying period in our nation's history.

7. Mr. President, Sir, we in Nasarawa State are beneficiaries of some of the policies, programmes and projects of your Administration. In this connection, we wish to express special gratitude to you for appointing our sons and daughters into various positions of trust and responsibility.

8. In the same vein, we acknowledge and appreciate your concern and commitment towards the early completion of various federal projects in our State.

9. However, Mr. President, permit me at this juncture, to, on behalf of the people of Nasarawa State make a special appeal for the dualisation of the Abuja - Keffi road to be extended to Akwanga and Lafia, and onward to Makurdi and Enugu. This stretch of national highway which serves as a strategic link between the South Eastern part of the country and the North has been a disturbing death trap over the years. We believe that its timely dualisation would not only save lives and property, but would accelerate the development of the national economy.

10. Mr. President, in concluding this address, we wish to state that should you decide to answer the clarion calls on you from different parts of the country to contest the 2011 Presidential election, we the people of Nasarawa State are resolved to give you our total support and commitment.

11. May God the almighty continue to sustain you with wisdom, courage, good health, patience and the understanding to lead this nation to the Promised Land.

12. Mr. President, we thank you for your attention. May you live longer and may your shadows never be less.
