At Book Launch, Governor Adamu Commends Female Authors

 Governor Abdullahi Adamu has commended female authors in Nasarawa state for blazing the trail in local publishing. He made the comments while formally being presented by a book written by Naomi Baba Gbefwi at government house, Lafia. Governor Adamu said the current issues raised in the book impressed him and the quality of thought presented therein. He therefore urged all citizens of Nasarawa state to  gear up to intellectual writing.
Titled "Health Education and Communication Strategies: a practical approach", the book is a standard text for community based health practioners and rural health workers. Amongst other topics, it discusses the prevention and control of HIV/AIDS using the BCC approach.
During the presentation ceremony, Governor Adamu donated the sum of N2million to the author.
