Labaran Maku Nominated As Running Mate To Governor Adamu

![[Image]](../images/02/IMG_1449.jpg) Governor Abdullahi Adamu has announced the nominated of Mr. Labaran Maku as his gubernatorial running mate for the elections scheduled for April 19, this year. The announcement was made in a press statement issued from Government House, Lafia and signed by Governor Adamu
Labaran Maku who is currently the state commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs is an experienced politician and youth vanguard in the state. He has been part of the Abdullahi Adamu administration since its inception in 1999.
The statement announcing his nomination said it was done after wide consultations with various strata of the Nasarawa polity. If the duo is elected into office, Labaran Maku will become the deputy Governor of the state beginning from May 29, 2003.
