Governor Akwe Doma Celebrates 100 days in Office.

As part of activities marking the first 100 days in office of Governor Aliyu Akwe Doma, the Governor has held a special interactive session with prominent sons and daughters of the state. 

The session which was organised by the Governor to brief prominent people of the state on the activities of the administration since inception, witnessed a large turnout of people.

Addressing the citizens, Governor Akwe Doma stated that he came into office with a clear focus and mission to develop the state and move ot forward from where the last administration left. The Governor used the occasion to chronicle the various activites that he had engaged in since assumption of office. These include the 16km solar power project for Lafia, the state capital; the release of N100million for payment of all backlog of scholarship allowances; the payment of N280million to UBEC as counterpart funding and the launching of the skills acquisition programme.

The session which was also addresses by Dr, Hassan Lawal, Minister of Labour and Productivity as well as Labaran Maku, former Deputy Governor of the state was attended by members of the national assembly, state assembly and traditional rulers from across the state.
