2nd Session of Nasarawa State House of Assembly Comes to a Close

The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has indicated its resolve to always remain resolute and focused in the discharge of its constitutional responsibility for the state to achieve educational advancement, economic regeneration and industrial growth.

Speaker of the Assembly, Alh. Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo stated this while addressing members of the State Assembly at the close of the second legislative session of the present assembly today.

Onawo, particularly thanked officials of government ministries, boards and parastatals who have been appearing before the House to make clarifications on their activities, stating that the motive was not to intimidate, humiliate, blackmail or embarrass them.

He also thanked the members for their contributions, support and understanding at all times urging them to sustain the tempo.

The House has now been adjourned to reconvene on the 18th July, 2005.
