Governor Adamu Condoles Speaker Masari Over Death of Son
Thursday, March 24, 2005

Governor Adamu has condoled the Speaker of the House of Representative, Aminu Bello Masari over the death of his son, Shamsudeen who died in a ghastly motor accident over the weekend. In a condolence letter delivered during a visit to Masari’s home in Abuja, Governor Adamu said the death of Shamsudeen was most disturbing because he died at the prime of his youth when he was about to commence his contributions to the development of our dear country, Nigeria.

Shamsudeen who was an undergraduate student of Ahmadu Bello University before his death, was described by Governor Adamu as having lived a very short life, “but he gave us reason to believe that he would have contributed significantly to the virtues which all of us desire for the youth of this country. We believe that history will certainly remember him kindly for what he was and stood for”.

Speaker Masari thanked Governor Adamu for the visit and said he had taken what happened as an act of God.
