Nasarawa Gets New Executive Council

A new executive council for Nasarawa State has been sworn-in by Governor Abdullahi Adamu. Performing the ceremony at Lafia, Governor Adamu declared that his administration was committed to delivering democratic dividends to the people of Nasarawa state. The new executive is made up of 18 commissioners with nine of them returning to the cabinet from the last council.

In an address immediately after the swearing-in ceremony, Governor Adamu admonished the new commissioners to shun corruption. He also urged them to brace up for the challenges of governance especially now that uncertainties in available revenue from the federation account are increasing. He told the new commissioners that since this was the last lap of the his tenure, the challenges will be tougher. He also announced that the administration will now concentrate at completing its projects so that no uncompleted project will be left for the succeeding administration.

Aishatu Ibrahim
Bagudu Usman

Ovey Angbazo
Ahmed Mohammed
