v Laid the foundation for Cultural Renaissance and Revival in Northern Nigeria:
- Initiated and fathered the creation of the Jos Campus, University of Ibadan, which subsequently became the University of Jos, 1971;
- Point man of the movement which led to the creation of Nasarawa State;
- Initiated the upgrading and promotion of Argungu Fishing Festival to International Standard, 1967.

- Represented Nigeria at the First World Festival of Negro Arts, Darkar, Senegal 1966;
- Organised and led Nigerian Delegation to Exp ’70 in Montreal, Canada 1970;
