Governor Doma Reorganises Bureau for Economic Empowerment; Announces New Appointments

His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State has approved the on of the Nasarawa State Bureau for Economic Empowerment.
The reorganisation as approved is as follows:
1. The re-designation of the Office of Director-General, Bureau for Economic Empowerment to the position of Permanent Secretary;
2. The re-designation of the Office of Executive Secretary, Relevant Technology Board to the position of General Manager;
3. The transfer of the Relevant Technology Board from the Bureau of Economic Empowerment to the Ministry of Science and Technology as a Parastatal.
Consequent upon this reorganisation, His Excellency has also approved as follows:
i. The re-designation of Mallam Sabo Ogah, Special Adviser, Poverty Reduction as Special Adviser, Economic Empowerment;
ii. The redeployment of the of the Present Director-General of the Bureau for Economic Empowerment, Barrister Labaran Magaji to the Office of the Executive Governor as Director-General, Special Duties;
iii. The redeployment of the present Executive Secretary of the Relevant Technology Board, Alhaji Usman Adams to the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development;
In another development, His Excellency, the Executive Governor has also approved the following appointments:
I. Mallam Ibrahim Ahmadu Adamu as General Manager, Relevant Technology Board;
II. Abdulkarim Attah Iyimoga as Coordinator, Informal Sector in the Office of the Executive Governor;
III. Mr. Sule Musa Moyi as Director-General, Hospitality in the Office of the Executive Governor
A statement signed by Timothy Anjide, Secretary to the State Government sated that all the appointments and redeployments take immediate effect.
