Good governance: Alago youths rate Gov Doma high

Alago Youths Consultative Forum has commended the governor of Nasarawa State, Alhaji Aliyu Akwe Doma for his visionary leadership which has placed the state in the right direction of development and progress.
The commendation was contained in a press release signed by the chairman of Alago Youth Consultative Forum, Alhaji Usman Okposhi.
According to the press release, “the quality leadership of governor Doma is a vindication of its long years of support and solidarity to the governor.”
It further stressed that governor Doma’s development strides through the implementation of the 13-Point agenda has brought back hope and unity as well as development of the state and its people.
Alhaji Okposhi stated that the 13-point agenda of the government has ensured that road construction, water supply, healthcare services and agriculture were given the attention that they deserved across the state.
Alhaji Okposhi said the governor has also tried, especially in the areas of youth empowerment programme which has helped towards eradication of joblessness and poverty among youths and the reduction of social violence as well as criminal activities in the state.
He said the programmes and policies of the government, particularly in the areas of agriculture and health have boosted revenue generation and trade within and outside the state and also brought about effective healthcare services delivery to the people at the rural areas.
“Little wonder then that it is not only the Alago people who are calling from all over to laud the style of good leadership of the governor Doma administration,” he stressed.
While advising governor Doma to be wary of sycophants and detractors, he congratulated him on the award of excellence given to him by the Sardauna Magazine recently.
The forum called on youths not to allow themselves to be used by politicians as thugs but they should rather take advantage of the youths empowerment programmes to better their lives.
