Nasarawa State has been described as an investors’ haven in Northern Nigeria

An international investor and proprietress of Loremm International School, Barrister (Mrs.) Ego Okafor made the remark shortly after the schools one year anniversary and prize giving day held at the Ibrahim Abacha Youth Centre in Lafia, the state capital.

Barrister Ego noted that the government of Nasarawa State has provided a conducive environment for businesses to thrive, commending the people of the state for their hospitality and peaceful co-existence.

While calling on other investors to take advantage of the conducive business climate in Nasarawa State, Barrister Okafor assured that the Loremm Group, which in addition to the establishment of an international standard nursery/primary school has other business concerns in Nasarawa State, would continue to expand its investments in the state as a way of contributing its quota to the development of the state.

She said that plans were in the pipeline by the Loremm Group to establish the secondary and university arms of the school in the state in the nearest future.

Commenting on the scholarship being offered by the school to indigent children in the state, the proprietress explained that currently, two pupils, one each from the Muslim and Christian communities were benefiting from the scheme, adding that the gesture by the school was aimed at assisting  the less privileged children to acquire education up to the university level.
