Nasarawa  State Governor, Alhaji Aliyu Akwe Doma, has been commended for the recent creation of three autonomous chiefdoms in Mada land.

Nasarawa  State Governor, Alhaji Aliyu Akwe Doma, has been commended for the recent creation of three autonomous chiefdoms in Mada land.

The head of Nzojah clan of Nunku, Malam Adamu Aboki, made the commendation when he led a delegation of Angwan Makama Nunku on a courtesy visit to the administrator of Akwanga West Development Area, Pastor Alpha Yusufu Tsenya in his office at Rinze, recently.

Malam Aboki said the aim of their visit to the administrator was to express their appreciation to Governor Aliyu Akwe Doma for the courage and pain exhibited in the creation of the chiefdom, saying the effort has put to rest, the prolonged chieftaincy tussle in the area.

He commended the developmental strides of the present administration, saying, the efforts has touched the lives of the people and as well taken the state to greater heights.

He also appealed to Governor Aliyu Akwe Doma to commence the installation ceremony of the chiefdoms and assured of his people’s support to his administration at all times.

The head of Nzojah also applauded the commitment of the administrator of the area and urged him to sustain the tempo even as he used the forum to advise him to shun any vices capable of diverting his attention from the good work he has been doing to the people of the area.

Responding, the administrator of Akwanga-West, Pasto Alpha Yusuf Tsenya commended the people of Nzojah community for the courage to pay him a courtesy call and also for identifying with the entire Mada nation over the creation of the chiefdoms.

Pastor Tsenya also cautioned them to be law abiding as well as engage in prayers so that the selection and installation of various rulers in the area will be successful for the rapid development of the traditional institutions in the area.

He also urged them to continue to support the administration of Governor Aliyu Akwe Doma beyond 2011 election in order to enable him accomplish the programmes he has started.
