Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Chief John Michael Abdul has commended the administrator of Akwanga West Development Area, Pastor Alfa Yusuf Tsenya for  contributing positively towards uplifting the standards of living of the people of the area.

Chief Abdul made the commendation while speaking at the thanksgiving service to mark the one year in office of the administrator which took place at the Christian Pentecostal Mission (CPM) Akwanga.

The deputy governor, who was represented by the state commissioner for spots and youths, Honourable Danlami Awaje, charged the administrator to continue to do more for his people by providing them with more social amenities to better their livelihood.

Chief Abdul praised the administrator for giving thanks to God for his achievements within one year in office.

The deputy governor said God has been protecting people in all their endeavours and as such there was always the need to give thanks  for his steadfast love.

He then called on the people of Akwanga West Development Area to continue to give the administrator support to enable him succeed in the task ahead.

Speaking at the occasion, the Administrator, Pastor Alfa Yusuf Tsenya who is also the Pastor of Christian Pentecostal Mission (PCM), gave thanks to God for protecting him throughout his one year in office.

He also said that because God spared has his life within the past one year in office, he was able to contribute positively towards the upliftment of the standards of living of his people.

Pastor Tsenya then called on the people to believe in God and live in peace with each other, adding that it is the only surest way to achieve success in life.
