Governor Aliyu Doma has reiterated the resolve of his administration to reposition, revamp and refocus education in Nasarawa State.
 
The Governor was speaking today when inagurating the 16-member Education Refoem Committee set up by the Administration some weeks back.
 
The Committee, according to Governor Doma is expected to make a holistic and critical assessment of the present state of affairs in the educational sector with a view to preparing a road-map that will guide government in provising qualitative and functional education in the State.
 
Headed by Dr. Slyvester Ayih, MFR, (Abaga Toni) the committee is composed of professionals with a track record of achievements in the education sector. The committee has been mandated to submit its report within two months.
 
Responding to the address, the Chairman of the committee, Dr. Slyvester Ayih, MFR, (Abaga Toni) said they felt honoured to be tasked with such an important assignment by the Governor, pledging that they will put in their best to ensure that they produced a good report.
