Governor Aliyu Akwe Doma said he is in office to work for the interest of the people. As such, he said he will work to ensure the overall development of the State.

The State Governor gave the assurance at the Palace of District Head of Mada-Station in continuation of his Statewide Meet-the-people-tour in Agidi Development Area.

The meet-the-people-tour is to enable Governor Aliyu Akwe Doma assess the implementation and impact of the administration’s policies, programmes and projects under the 13 point agenda.

Governor Doma who was received at the Nassarawa Eggon – Mada Station border by a huge crowd, expressed gratitude to the people of Agidi for their show of solidarity and support to the administration.

According to him the tour would further give him the opportunity to take stock of the journey so far in the task of governance and grassroots development.

He told the people of Agidi that the construction of the Nassarawa Eggon – Mada Station Road and the completion of Kagbu rural electrification among several projects, were done basically to meet up with the yearnings and aspirations of the people.

While emphasizing peaceful co-existence and security as necessary ingredients for socio-economic development Governor Doma urged them to continue to live in peace and harmony with one another.

He commended the administrator Clement Sule Anduwa for his appreciable development efforts in the area, assuring that all the challenges highlighted would be looked into with a view to addressing them appropriately.

Apart from the stakeholders interactive session, Governor Aliyu Akwe Doma also commissioned the Agidi new council secretariat and MDG Comprehensive Healthcare Clinic in the area.
