Nasarawa Cultural Troupe Selected to Represent Nigeria

Nasarawa State Cultural Troupe has been selected to represent Nigeria at this year’s famous Pale Ya Rona cultural carnival in South Africa.
This year’s carnival is being specially packaged to coincide with the World Cup event being hosted by South Africa.
Nasarawa State troupe, otherwise known as Isa Kungar Cultural Troupe was selected to represent Nigeria on merit, having won the award for best State troupe in the country three consecutive times in the last three years.
The Nasarawa State Troupe is billed to perform at the African Village Theater and other selected venues in South Africa.
Meantime, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa state Alhaji (Dr) Aliyu Akwe Doma OON (Madauchin Doma) has approved a 25 man cultural troupe contingent to participate at the FIFA World Cup event.
The Isa Kungar Cultural Troupe is expected to be in South Africa between 13th and 30th June, 2010.
