In his support for the security agencies in his local government, the chairman Keffi Local Government Council, Nasarawa State, Engineer Idris Mohammed Idris, has donated two new brand motorcycles (Jincheng X100) to the offices of State Security Services and Criminal Investigation Bureau in the area to facilitate their activities.

Presenting the motorcycles to the beneficiaries in a brief ceremony at the council's secretariat in Keffi recently, the chairman stated that the gesture was aimed at encouraging them to discharge their duties effectively.

The chairman, according to a press statement signed by the Information Officer of the council, Musa Usman, further stressed that the gesture was in demonstration of true hospitality and acceptance of the organizations in the area, describing their activities as very significant, especially in the area of combating crime hence, the need for the support to both government and private individuals to enhance their activities.

Engineer Idris, who assured his continued support and assistance to the organization in the area for better result urged them to make the best use of the motorcycles for the purpose they were meant for.

Responding, the local government SSS/CIB bosses expressed their appreciation for the gesture and commended the Chairman for the efforts.

The officers then assured the chairman of the judicious use of the motorcycles to go round every nook and cranny of Keffi towards assisting in the control of crime rate and facilitate peaceful co-existence of the people of Keffi Local Government Area.
