Members of staff of the Nasarawa Publishing Company (NPC) Limited, the publishers of Nigerian Newsday and Nasara newspapers, have resolved to continue to contribute meaningfully towards the success of the organization.

The workers gave the assurance after a meeting that took place between the management and the staff of the company last week Monday in Lafia.

The meeting was aimed at identifying ways and means of moving the company to greater heights.

While highlighting the challenges facing the newspaper industry in this era of global economic recession, the managing director of the company, Malam Abubakar M. B. Ibrahim, called on the NPC workers to rededicate themselves to their duties with a view to consolidating on the achievements recorded in the company in recent times.

The managing director of the company commended the efforts of Governor Aliyu Akwe Doma of Nasarawa State towards repositioning the company for improved service delivery.

Earlier, while expressing satisfaction with the management of the company, the secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Nigerian Newsday chapel, Malam Shehu Ibrahim, said the workers were prepared to support the management to ensure the progress of the company.

He also commended the efforts of the management and the staff of the company for the sacrifices they have made for the success and glory of the company.
