Nasarawa State House of Assembly members have resumed from their two weeks recess.
The first assignment the lawmakers carried out on the day of resumption was the inspection of the ongoing work at the Assembly Complex.
The Speaker, Alhaji Musa Ahmed Mohammed who led the members on the inspection tour described the level of work as satisfactory.
Alhaji Mohammed stressed that with the pace of work on the project he had no doubt that it would be completed within the stipulated period of five months.
On his part, the chairman House Committee on Housing, Hon. Raymond Akolo while commending the quality of work so far executed, however warned the contractors to hasten up work to meet the deadline.
While lamenting that staff of the Assembly have been displaced, the House Committee chairman on Housing called on the staff to be patient saying the committee is working to see that the work is completed within the stipulated date.
It would be recalled that contract for the construction of the State House of Assembly Chambers was awarded as a result of destruction caused by rain storm last year.
