Clerk of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Mr. Moses Ondaki, yesterday died in a road accident along Jos road. The incident which occurred at point near Gwantu Local Government of Kaduna State, happened about mid-day.
He was said to be returning to Lafia from Jos where he went on official assignment when he met his death.
The Press Secretary to the Speaker of the State Assembly, Mallam Ibrahim Tanko, who confirmed the demise of the clerk to journalists in Lafia yesterday, said details on the incident were still sketchy. The remains of the deceased, he said has been deposited in a hospital in Gwantu. It will be recalled that the deceased’s wife died in similar circumstances on the same road last year.
Ondaki served as the Clerk of the State Assembly for five years before his demise yesterday.
