Governor Mohammed Namadi Sambo of Kaduna State has called on political appointees to dedicate themselves to the service of the people in order to move the state forward.
Governor Namadi made the call while swearing in a new commissioner, two special advisers and a member of the State Independent Electoral Commission (SIECOM) at General Hassan Katsina House Kaduna.
According to him, "political appointees are duty bound to serve the people selflessly and patriotically so that the people of the state could benefit from the services of government".
Governor Namadi expressed his administration’s committed to the improvement of the living standard of the people of the state by embarking on programmes and policies that have direct impact on the citizens.
He explained that a lot of projects were in the pipeline and would soon be executed to enable the state become one of the most developed in the country.
Those sworn-in included Alhaji Mohammed Shamsudeen Ango Abdullahi as commissioner, Mr. Elisha Buba Yero and Alhaji Sadiq Mamman Lagos as special advisers and Hannatu Biniat Usman as member of SIECOM.
