Zangon Kataf LG: Elected officers express gratitude

Elected representatives from Zangon-Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State have expressed their gratitude to the people of the area for giving them their mandate.
The public office holders who included Barrister Timmy Kambai, the chairman of Zangon-Kataf Local government area, Mrs Esther Abba, representing Zangon Kataf constituency and Barrister Ishaku Kantyok reprinting Zonkwa constituency, all in the Kaduna State House of Assembly, went on a thank-you tour to the eleven wards of the local government area, last week.
Addressing people of the area separately, at the various wards, the representatives promised work in harmony to ensure that the local government got its fair share of the dividends of democracy.
They appealed to the people to provide an enabling environment for the government at all levels to operate successfully.
The elected officers also called on the people for support and cooperation, as well as constructive criticism to enable them live up to expectations, promising to justify the confidence reposed in them.
In his speech at the occasion the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Chairman of Zangon Kataf Local Government Area, Mr. Samson Sheyin thanked the people of area for voting the party in all elections.
He assured the people that his party would make sure that the elected officers give good representation.
Also speaking separately, the ward chairmen of the party assured the elected officers of their support and cooperation whenever the need arose.
They, however, presented problems within their wards that reflected the yearnings and aspirations of their people, ranging from in adequate electricity and water supply, and lack of good roads among others.
The tour which lasted for two days took the elected officers to all the eleven wards in the local government area.
