Peugeot Automobile Nigeria (PAN) Limited Kaduna, has donated 30 different brands of Peugeot vehicles, worth N12 million, to the National Sports Festival for the hosting of the national sporting events in Kaduna, tagged KADA 2008.
This spporting events were billed to take place in Kaduna, in November this year.

He described sporting activities as very important because they help in promoting peace and unity among the people.
In his speech, the governor of Kaduna State, Alhaji Mohammed Namadi Sambo, declared Peugeot as the official vehicle for the 16th National Sports Festival. "We should not be buying imported cars because doing that means we are sustaining other countries’ economies instead of boosting our own. Sustaining PAN means providing job opportunities to many Nigerians," Namadi stated.
He said partnering with PAN marked another milestone in the duo’s relationship, requesting the PAN management to continue to sustain the partnership.
In his speech, the managing director of PAN, Dr. Haruna Aliyu, said the occasion was indeed historic, in that it afforded PAN the rare opportunity to complement the efforts of the government of Kaduna State in the onerous task of hosting the 16th National Sports Festival.
"We feel highly encouraged and proud of the world-class sports facilities the administration of Mohammed Namadi Sambo is putting in place for the KADA 2008", added the PAN Chairman.
