Governor Akwe Doma Loses Senior Brother

The Death has today been announced in Lafia of the elder brother to the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State. Alhaji Husseini Abari, aged 86 died at the Lafia Specialist hospital after a protracted illness.
Alhaji Abari who has been on admission at the Lafia Specialist hospital for the past one week, died today, Wednesday, 03 October 2007 at about 10am in the morning.
Meanwhile, Alhaji Abari was buried this afternoon at about 2.30pm at the Doma burial ground after Islamic prayers.
I attendance at the prayer were the Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, John Mike Abdul; The Emir of Lafia, The Osana of Keana and the Andoma of Doma amongst numerous sympathisers.
Governor Akwe Doma is presently receiving condolence messages in the family home at Doma.
