Islamic cleric urges Muslims to copy Prophet Muhammed

Muslim umma have been reminded to follow the footsteps of Prophet Muhammed (SAW) in order to benefit "from here and the hereafter."
This call was made by Sheikh Muyideen Ajani Bello of the Northern States council of Ansar-un deen society of Nigeria at the inauguration and turbarning of the Chief Imam during the five million naira fund raising for a new mosque project in Lafia, the Nasarawa state capital.
The occasion which drew dignitaries from within and outside the state had Sheikh Ajani admonishing faithfuls to follow the legacies of Prophet Muhammed by showing love and concern to one another, as according to him, this was the only way to attract development.
According to him, the association stands for "the propagation of Islam," so as to better the lots of Muslims in the entire world.
Sheikh Bello stated that the association was established in 1980 with 20 members but now has 120 members and called on other Muslims to join them to bring development to the society.
Earlier, in an address, the chairman of the Ansar-un-deen society of Nigeria, Lafia branch, Alhaji Abudu Mustapha attributed the success story of the association to the will of Almighty Allah (SWT), the support of the northern states council and the efforts of many individuals who helped to set up the Lafia branch.
Alhaji Mustapha said even though the association was founded in 1980, it collapsed due to lack of proper organization.
