Following the recent merger of Greater Karu Urban Area Planning and Development Authority (KAPDA) with the Ministry of Urban Development and the creation of the Nasarawa State Urban Development Board (NUDB), the state governor, Alhaji Aliyu Akwe Doma has approved the deployment of some officers to the new board.

A statement signed by the Secretary to State Government (SSG). Timothy Anjide, stated that the former Managing Director of KAPDA, Alhaji Ja’afaru Barde Ango, is now the Managing Director of Nasarawa State Urban Development Board (NUDB), the former General Manager in charge of Planning, KAPDA, Architect Halidu Abubakar is now the General Manager Development Control NUDB, the former Director of Administration and Supply in the Nasarawa State Board of Internal Revenue Services, Alhaji O. Oyitogo, is now Secretary to NUDB while the former Director, Urban Development, Mr. Samuel Galadima, has become the General Manager NUDB.

Others affected by the deployment were the former Acting Director Engineering Services in the Ministry of Urban Development, Engineer Edward Daudu, who is now the Assistant General Manager Engineering Services NUDB; former Acting Director of Administration and Supplies, office of the Head of Civil Service, Mr. Willie Nkuyu, now the Assistant Manager Administration NUDB; former Acting Director Inspectorate in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, Alhaji Adamu Bako now Assistant General Manager Finance and Accounts NUDB; while Barrister Hassan Lamus has been appointed the new Assistant General Manager Legal Services in NUDB.

The appointment and deployments take immediate effect.
