KDSG recruits 1,380 professionals

Kaduna State Governor, Arc.Mohammed Namadi Sambo has approved the recruitment of 1,380 professionals of various disciplines into the state civil service, the special adviser to the governor on Media and Public Affairs, Malam Umar Sani, has disclosed.
Malam Sani who made the disclosure in Kaduna said the exercise has already commenced.
He said the professionals would be posted to various ministries where their services were most needed, which he said, included ministries of works and transport, agriculture, health, finance, economics planning and environment and natural resources.
He explained that the decision to employ the graduates was informed by a careful appraisal of the critical role each ministry was expected to play in actualizing the 11-point agenda of the present administration in the state.
He further explained that the state government carefully considered the availability of vacancies, budgetary provisions and areas of critical need.
He disclosed that the state government was expected to spend the sum of N137,177,180:84 annually on the exercise, aimed at assisting the youths.
He said the state governor, Arc. Mohammed Namadi Sambo has warned those charged with the responsibility of recruiting the professionals to ensure adequate representation from all the 23 local government areas of the state with a view to ensuring justice.
