The former zonal chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Nasarawa Western zone of Nasarawa State, Hon. Arri Gunde has joined the race for the Karu Local Government chairmanship seat with a pledge to render selfless service to the people if given the mandate.

Addressing his teeming supporters at the end of his campaign rally at the party secretariat in karu, recently, Hon Gunde assured that accountability, honesty and social justice would be his watch words if elected.

He said that, his programmes would focus on agriculture, health care delivery, education as well as the maintenance of peace and unity in the area.

According to his, his administration when in place would strive to carry the people along so as to give every section of the society the needed sense of belonging.

He said that his recent donation of science equipment to some schools in the area was borne out of his desire to move the council forward, adding that he would do more if given the mandate.

The chairmanship aspirant who expressed his satisfaction with the overwhelming support he has received from the people across the area urged them not to relent in their effort.
