NDA chairman hails Nasarawa Dep Gov

The chairman of the Ninghaan Development Association (NDA) Akwanga branch Mr. Sabo Maichibi has commended the deputy governor of Nasarawa state, Chief John Michael Abdul for his laudable achievements within his one year in office.
Mr. Maichibi who gave the commendation in an interview with Nigerian Newsday in Akwanga said within the shortest period in office, the deputy governor has played a vital role in ensuring that the state water scheme was brought to Akwanga town.
He said the PDP administration in Nasarawa state was doing its best in the implementation of its 13-points agenda, pointing out that the present administration in the state is also ensuring that workers salaries were paid promptly.
The NDA chairman said the establishment of Kini country guest inn at Akwanga town by the deputy governor of Nasarawa state has provided employment for the teeming youths in Mada land, and gone along way in boosting tourism in the state.
He used the opportunity to call on the Nasarawa state government to come to the aid of Ninghan community by grading the Andaha –Ninghaan road to ease transportation of goods and services in the area.
Mr. Maichibi also enjoined the state government to provide boreholes to the people of Ninghaan as they lacked potable water in the area.
In addition, he urged government to upgrade the Ninghaan primary health care (PHC) to a full maternity centre, so that pregnant women would have access to ante and post natal care.
Mr. Maichibi congratulated the state deputy governor, Chief John Michael Abdul on his 49th birthday, and also hoped that Gov should give him the strength to continue with the good work he is known for.
According to him, "the Ninghaan people are proud to have one of their sons as deputy governor of Nasarawa state".
