Majority Header of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Honourable Peter Mbucho, has re-assured of his determination to adequately represent his constituency.

Honourable Mbucho who is representing Akwanga North constituency gave the assurance recently while speaking to the people of Nunku community in Akwanga West Development Area.

The lawmaker advised communities in his constituency to mobilize themselves and engage in community works, promising that he would make his personal contribution at all times to augment the efforts of any community.

Honourable Mbucho said he was very much concerned with the educational development of his constituency. He said it was for this reason that he embarked on rehabilitation of some primary schools in the area.

He also said that he rehabilitated and constructed some bridges to enable his people who are mostly farmers, transport their produce to the marker.

The lawmaker said that he has built and equipped his constituency office in Andaha, pointing out that free computer training would be conducted at the office for youths in his constituency.

Also speaking at the meeting, the former chairman, Akwanga-West Development Area, Alhaji Yusuf Ahmed Dansamu, who spoke on behalf of the Nunku community, thanked the lawmaker for his visit to Nunku district.

He also assured Honourable Mbucho of the unflinching support by Nunku community.

He then called on the Nasarawa State Government to help the community with electricity, which he said was one of the community’s major problems.

In his vote of thanks the district head of Nunku, Malam Shayibu Sani, thanked Honourable Mbucho for his concern for the development of Nunku community.
