Administrator of St. Williams Catholic Cathedral Church, Lafia, Very Reverend Father Alphonsus Sanke, has called on Christians to imbibe the culture of love and good neighbourliness so as to ensure the overall development of the nation.

Reverend Sanke made the call during a sermon in the church last week. He urged Christians to always do their best instead of waiting for leaders to actualize all their dreams and aspirations.

He enjoined Nigerians to always work towards initiating ideas that would not only complement government’s efforts, but those that would help the course of unity amongst the different groups of people in the country.

Reverend Sanke said in the eyes of God nobody is considered low or superior to the other, pointing out that God looks at the inner being of people and treat them according to the degree of their adherence to his laws.

He called on all parents to ensure proper upbringing of their children so that they would grow up to be good citizens.
