The Provost of College of Agriculture, Lafia, Dr. Napoleon D. Saingbe, has called on the state government to increase the allocation of fertilizer to the school.

Dr. Saingbe stated this in a press statement signed by the college information and public affairs officer, Adenola Isaac and made available to Nigerian Newsday.

He said when this was done it would go a long way in boosting food production thereby making it available and affordable to the people.

He, however, commended the performance of Governor Aliyu Akwe Doma in the construction of roads network and the urban renewal projects, which are at various stages of completion.

He further urged the state government to embark on construction of dams and boreholes in some rural communities in the state.

The provost also advised the government to employ services of competent contractors who would execute the projects according to specifications and urged the government to always maintain its projects to ensure their durability.
