Good governance - Traditional title holder rates Gov Doma high

The Santurakin Lafia, Alhaji Musa Abbas Musa II has commended the Nasarawa State Governor, Aliyu Akwe Doma on the implementation of his administration’s 13-point agenda so far.
Alhaji Musa who is also a permanent member, Board of Internal Revenue, said, the award given to Governor Doma by the African Independent Television (AIT) in conjunction with the Project Excellence (PE) in recognition of his service to the people especially in the areas of water and electricity supply and roads construction in the state did not come to the people as surprise.
Alhaji Musa who made the remark in a chat with Nigerian Newsday said the award was a reward for transparency, hard work and vision of the governor in developing the state.
He explained that the plan of the governor to build general hospital in the state capital and all the local government and development areas was a welcome idea and well accepted by the people.
He further said the governor has also been up to-date in scholarship disbursement to students.
He called on people of the state to support Governor Doma at all times to succeed in his bid to develop the state.
He said that in the past, Governor Doma had done well as a permanent secretary, deputy governor "and as a governor now, he would do more Insha Allah".
He called on members of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to shun violence and embrace peace and harmony.
He also challenged the PDP exco to work in mutual harmony to enable the deliver the desired dividends of democracy to the people.
He called on those who were aggrieved and have left the PDP to come back to the party "because PDP is the best party" he said.
