Envulu’anza challenges people on development

The Nasarawa State Governor, Alhaji Aliyu Akwe Doma, has been commended for the provision of infrastructural facilities in the state in the last one year.
The commissioner of sports, Alhaji Mohammed Halilu Envulu’anza, made the remark in a chat with Nigerian Newsday in Lafia, the state capital recently.
Alhaji Envulu’anza scored the Doma-led administration high, particularly in the area of roads construction,saying that the new roads under construction would have direct bearings on the lives of the people when completed.
He commended the governor for his determination to eradicate corruption in the state.
He said that the welfare of the people was paramount to the administration in the state, adding that plans were in top gear for the government to partner with the private sector for the development of the state.
Alhaji Envulu’anza stated that the government was very interested in the development of sports in the state, noting that the state owned football teams were now forces to be reckoned with as far as the game of soccer was concerned.
The commissioner called on the people of the state to join hands with the government with a view to taking sports to the next level..
