The Ardo and chairman Miyetti Allah cattle rearers association, Ayu district in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Alhaji Garba Adamu has appealed to the local government authority to involve Fulani cattle rearers in its policies an programmes.

Alhaji Adamu who stated this in interview with Nigerian Newsday recently, said the involvement of Fulani in local government programmes would enable them contribute their quota to the development of the area.

The Ardo said the Fulani cattle rearers came out enmasse to vote candidates of their choice during the recent local government elections in Kaduna state, hence the need to involve them in all governments programmes.

He said Fulanis in Ayu district have been co-existing peacefully with the other people of the area for decades and that he would do everything possible to sustain the peace and advised his subjects to graze in areas where there are no crops.

Alhaji Adamu further described the election of Mrs. Comfort Amwe as chairman of Sanga LGC as an act of God and urged her to carry everybody along irrespective of what ever differences, adding that they will give her their support.

He also appealed to the chairman to establish more nomadic primary and secondary schools in the area to complement the existing ones at Gwade and Digel.
