A member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Hon. Ishaq Ahmed Kana has solicited for support for Governor Aliyu Akwe Doma to enable him succeed in the implementation of his 13-point agenda.

Speaking in an interactive session with newsmen in Keffi recently, Hon. Kana expressed the confidence that the governor has the capabilities and will to develop the state to an enviable position.

He expressed the optimism that the governor has the good intentions and capacity to take the state to greater heights and “as such he should be given the needed support by all and sundry.”

Continuing, he said, “from all indications, the governor is adequately prepared and has the capacity to take the state to a higher pedestal, as such he should be adequately supported by the people of the state.”

On his part Hon. Kana who is representing Kokona West constituency at the state assembly stressed that so far he has succeeded in constructing some classroom blocks, giving out over 80 motorcycles, 20 cars, sinking over six bore-holes, sponsoring pilgrims to both Saudi Arabia and Jerusalem among other achievements.

The lawmaker who re-stated his determination to dedicate himself to the service of his people in return for he mandate given to him and further expressed satisfaction that he has so far made a significant difference.

While reiterating his determination to continue to do his best for the people, he however solicited for their continued support and cooperation.

He then called on his people to continue to live in peace and be their brothers’ keepers so as to attract more government presence to the area.
