Traditional ruler pleads for more government support

The newly turbaned Ohinoyi (Chief) of Egbura in Gwagwalada area council, Alhaji Danjuma Shuaibu Musa,has called for more support for traditional rulers to enable them discharge their duties effectively.
In an interview with the journalists in his palace recently, the Ohinoyi of Egbura said the call become necessary in view of the increasing role the traditional institution plays in nation building.
The traditional ruler who promised to accord the welfare of his people
top priority, also gave the assurance that his leadership would deem it necessary to channel the needs of the tribal chiefs as well as the ward chiefs to the authorities of Gwagwalada Area Council in order to boost their morale.
He called on the traditional rulers to join hands with him for the overall development of the area and urged them to shun any act capable of causing crisis in their domains.
He called on the entire Egbura community to work towards the progress of the various Egbura associations across the country, so as to bring unity and harmony among them.
He further appealed to Egbura residing in Gwagwalada to live in peace with one another and warned them to desist from any immoral act in the area.
