LG polls: Aspirant commend Gov Doma over road projects

A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairmanship aspirant in Kokona Local Government of Nasarawa State, Malam Mohammed Dogara Idris Bugalala has expressed his gratitude to the state government under the leadership of Alhaji Aliyu Akwe Doma for its decision to under take the re-construction of rural roads in the state with special emphasis on Mararaban Kokona-Agwada Udege road.
The chairmanship aspirant who gave the commendation in an exclusive interview with Nigerian Newsday recently at Garaku described the roads project as significant to the socio-economic development of the people, the state and the country in general.
According to him, the road project has ignited the hopes of the people in the abilities of the present administration to take the state to the next level of development.
“Infact this development has made our people to have the confidence that the state government under the leadership of Governor Doma (Garkuwan Doma) is determined to enhance their socio-economic wellbeing,” he stated.
Malam Mohammed Dogara Idris observed that the road projects, if completed, would help the people of the area who are predominantly farmers to transport their agricultural produce to the urban market as well as enhance communication and other socio-economic activities.
He assured that on their part they would ensure that they reciprocate the gesture through by continued support and co-operation with the Governor Doma-led administration.
On the issue of the forthcoming local government election in the state, Malam Idris Bugalala called on his supporters to conduct themselves in a good and orderly manner during and after the election saying that by God grace he would emerge victorious.
