Politics has been described as a noble game which provides an avenue for the players to render selflessness service to humanity and God.

Apostle Anselm Madubuko of the Revival Assembly who stated this recently in Abuja during a press conference to launch a branch of his ministry, however noted that “most people go into politics with wrong perception and motive”.

Madubuko enjoined politicians to always seek God guidance so as not to allow themselves to be “soaked by the murky waters of politics”.

While noting that the church has a vital role to play in nation building, he said. “I believe that the time has come for the church to wake up which is one of the reasons why the lord is asking me to come to this part of the world to “wake up to its responsibilities the sleeping church to their responsibility, knowing that the fight against corruption is not only physical, but spiritual”.

Apostle Madubuko stressed the need for Nigerians to be God fearing in all their dealings, saying that until this was done, corruption and other vices will continue unabated.
